Islamic guidelines

1. Intention (niyyah): Join only if you are seeking marriage. “Actions are judged by intentions.” (Bukhari)
2. Honesty: Describe your deen, marital status and circumstances truthfully. Hiding an existing marriage is not permitted on this site.
3. Modesty (haya): Upload modest photos only; keep conversation respectful and purposeful. Avoid flirtatious or intimate talk.
4. No khalwa: Do not arrange private meetings. Meet in the presence of family or a mahram.
5. Involve the wali: Sisters are encouraged to involve their wali early; brothers should approach families with respect.
6. Istikhara: Pray Salat al-Istikhara and consult trusted people before deciding.
7. Kindness in refusal: Decline gracefully. Never shame or expose anyone's details.
